Yard Waste

Easy environmental-friendly tips:
Reuse for mulch or compost. Instead of bagging yard waste:
a) Leave grass clippings on your lawn.
b) Use fallen leaves to mulch plant beds.
c) Compost your grass, leaves, plants, etc. For more information, call the Pinellas County Extension Service at 582-2100 or visit Florida’s Online Composting Center.

Horticultural/yard waste and tree trimming debris created by a landscape contractor or commercial tree trimmer must be disposed of by the contractor and may not be piled at the curb for regular pickup. Limited yard waste generated by a homeowner will still be picked up during the City's normal trash runs.
