Household GarbageTo view a brochure on the dos and don'ts of recycling and trash collection, click here The City of St. Pete Beach is under contract with Waste Services of Florida (WSI-FL) to provide the collection of solid waste. Under this contract Waste Services of Florida will provide all solid waste (garbage), yard/horticultural waste and recycling collections for all residential properties within the City of St. Pete Beach. Waste Services of Florida will also provide solid waste (garbage) collections for commercial properties within the City of St. Pete Beach. Construction debris and commercial recycling are not covered under this contract and facilities are open to negotiate with the hauler of their choice. Trash is collected twice a week. Please place items out before 7am. All trash and small loose items must be categorized or bagged. Cans and bags can not weigh more than 40 pounds each. This location also serves as a hazardous chemical drop site and mulch pick up location. From St. Pete Beach: Take I-275 through St. Petersburg and take the Park Blvd. Exit (it will also say Pinellas Park). Exit and turn left. At the second traffic light, turn right and then make another immediate right. The road will make a sharp bend to the left and become 28th Street. Go north until you pass the refuse-to-energy plant. Turn left on 114th Ave. (where all the garbage trucks are turning) and make an immediate right. The Solid Waste Administration building will be on the right. Hours of operation for this facility
