Office of the City ManagerThe City Manager is appointed by and serves the City Commission as the chief administrative official to oversee and direct everyday governmental operations. The City Manager's office is located on the 2nd floor of City Hall with office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Telephone: 727.363.9231or FAX: 727.363.9249. NOTE: The telephone number for human resources is 727.363.9233. Office Staff: Responsibilities: City Administration - Provides overall direction and supervision for all city departments and is responsible for advising the City Commission and carrying out its policies. Human Resources - Maintains personnel files, assists city department directors with their personnel needs, recommends and implements peronnel practices and policies, develops training programs, administers the benefits program, ensures compliance with local, state and federal labor laws and actively encourages diversity in all city departments.
