The City of St. Pete Beach is a 7 mile long island community of 10,000 residents. Our 4 miles of sandy, white beaches attract thousands of visitors to our shores every year. The recreation division within the Public Services Department plays an intrinsic part of St. Pete Beach’s draw to visitors and future residents. We work hard to enhance the quality of life for everyone on our island. Our staff plans year-round activities for families, children and adults of all ages, planned for a myriad of interests.

Responsibilities:
Library Administrator-Plans, directs and coordinates the operation of the public library; coordinates work with department director; develops and administers library polcies and procedures; prepares and presents required and special reports
Parks Superintendent- Plans and supervises the construction, maintenance and repair projects of parks and parks facilities
Recreation Superintendent-Plans, organizes and directs comprehensive community recreation program; plans, promotes and coordinates recreation programs; supervising the scheduling of programs and events
Recreation Program Coordinator- Plans, coordinates and oversees Community Center Complex, programs and staff; schedules staff and programs and special events
Arts Coordinator- Manages Don Vista Cultural Arts Center; develops, organizes and manages cultural facility programs and displays
Recreation Leader (I and II)- Coordinates and implements recreation programs, activities and special events; ensures safety of program participants
Recreation Assistant- Assists with scheduling and presenting recreation and special programming for youth and adult programs; ensures safety of program participants; maintains records
