Finance Director
Elaine Trehy

Prior to accepting the position of Finance Director at the City of St. Pete Beach, Elaine served as Finance Director of the City of Seminole and the Administrative Services Director for the City of Madeira Beach and the City of Gulfport.  Elaine prepared the first Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the City of Madeira Beach which received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association.  Additionally, Elaine prepared the first budget for the City of Gulfport to receive the Distinguished Budget Award from the Government Finance Officers Association.

Elaine has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing a Master degree in Public Administration at USF.  She is a Certified Government Finance Officer and past president of the Suncoast Chapter of the Florida Government Finance Officers Association.  She is currently a member of the Government Finance Officers Association, the Florida Government Finance Officers Association and the Suncoast Chapter of the Florida Government Finance Officers Association.
