Comprehensive Plan

The St. Pete Beach Comprehensive Plan was originally adopted in 1989 in response to the requirements of the Florida Growth Management Act of 1985. The current Goals, Objectives and Policies were updated in 1998 after an evaluation and appraisal of the original plan in 1996.

The Goals, Objectives, and Policies provide the basis for the individual development regulations formulated to implement this plan. The Comprehensive Plan is a dynamic document.  The current version contains all adopted amendments through APRIL 15, 2007.  Information concerning the comprehensive plan is available at the City of St. Pete Beach Community Development Department, located within City Hall, 155 Corey Avenue and can be reached by email or by calling (727) 363-9266.
