Board of AdjustmentThe St. Pete Beach Board of Adjustment is a five-member group of residents appointed by the City Commission that sits as a quasi-judicial body to handle certain variance issues relating to the land development regulations. Variances related to Conditional Use Applications are handled by the City Commission as part of the review process. The City Commission also hears all applications for variance from the Coastal Construction and Excavation Setback Line. The meeting schedule for the City Commission is here. The Board meets in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall once a month, on the last Wednesday of the month, in an advertised public hearing format to consider the applications. Filing deadlines for the Board hearing are 12 Noon on the Friday about two weeks preceding the previous month's meeting, or about seven weeks in advance of the scheduled public hearing at which the application will be heard.
