Engineering Services and Planning & Urban Design Services - The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is for The City of St. Pete Beach to receive responses from qualified firms capable of providing Engineering Services for public works projects and firms capable of providing Consulting Services for assistance with various planning efforts.  Firms may submit on one or both of the requested services – Engineering or Planning & Urban Design.  Proposals due June 29th, 2012 – 1PM, at the office of the City Clerk – 155 Corey Ave., St. Pete Beach, FL,   33706.

 

Generator Replacement or Repair RFP - The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified Construction Contractors for: Generator Replacement or Repair – 7581 Boca Ciega Dr.   A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 5th, 2012, at 10:00 AM.  Meeting will be held at the Public Services Building located at 7581 Boca Ciega Dr., St. Pete Beach, FL, 33706. Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on June 29th, 2012, in the Office of the City Clerk, 155 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, Florida.

 

Property & Casualty Insurance - The City of St. Pete Beach is seeking proposals from quailified proposers for various insurance coverages. Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on June 19, 2012 in the Office of the City Clerk, 155 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, FL.

 

Landscape Improvement -  The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified Construction Contractors for: Landscape Improvements. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on May 8 th, 2012, at 10:00 AM. Meeting will be held at the  Public Services Building located at 7581 Boca Ciega Dr., St. Pete Beach, FL, 33706.  Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on May 23rd, 2012, in the Office of the City Clerk, 155 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, FL.

 

Stormwater Drainage Outfall Cleaning and Inspection - The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified Construction Contractors for: Cleaning and Inspection of Stormwater Drainage Outfalls. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on May 10, 2012, at 10:00 AM. Meeting will be held at the  Public Services Building located at 7581 Boca Ciega Dr., St. Pete Beach, FL, 33706. Seawall Repairs - The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified Construction Contractors for: Seawall repairs at Vermont Ave., Massachuetts Ave., and McKenney Park. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on April 24, 2012 at 10am at the Public Services Building located at 7581 Boca Ciega Drive, St. Pete Beach. Bids are due May 2nd by 10am in the City Clerk's Office at 155 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, FL.

 

Rehabilitation of Wastewater Lift Station #10 - The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified Construction Contractors for: Rehabilitation of Wastewater Lift Station #10. Work to include, but not limited to, new pumps, rails, hatch, piping, and controls. Lift Station #10 is located at the intersection of Corey Ave. and Sunset Way. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on February 29th 10am at the Public Services building located at 7581 Boca Ciega Drive. -BAYWAY BRIDGE INFORMATION UPDATES - FDOT has two ways you can stay up-to-date on the new Bridge progress. Second, attend a weekly informational meeting for the public to be held on Thursdays starting February 23 between 9-10am at the Shoppers Village, 5901 Sun Blvd., St. Petersburg. The informational meetings will be held in the breezeway.

The Pinellas Bayway Bridge Replacement project will include replacing the existing two lane bascule bridge with a four lane fixed high-level bridge.

- Municipal Marina - The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is for The City of St. Pete Beach to receive responses from qualified firms capable of assisting the City in completing the permitting and design process for the proposed 24-slip transient dock, as a part of the municipal marina. Proposals are due on Feb. 15, 2012, 1PM at City Hall.

 

- Elevator Service - The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified Service Contractors for Elevator Maintenance Services and services will include repairs, parts, adjustments, testing and lubrication of all components. Bids are due February 1, 2012, 10AM, at City Hall. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on January 25, 2012, at 1:00PM, at the Public Services Building.

 

- Stormwater Master Plan Request for Qualifications (RFQ) The City of St. Pete Beach will receive responses from qualified firms capable of assisting the City in completing a Stormwater Master Plan. From this process, the City intends to select a consultant capable of analyzing existing stormwater infrastructure and recommending solutions to stormwater drainage issues. Submittals are due by 1:00 pm on Friday, November 18, 2011 in the Office of the City Clerk, 155 Corey Avenue.

 

-Street Rehabilitation - The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified Construction Contractors for various street rehabilitation. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on October 26, 2011, at 1:00 PM at the Public Services Building located at 7581 Boca Ciega Dr., St. Pete Beach, FL, 33706. There will be no site tour. BEAUTIFICATION AND TRAFFIC PROJECTS

-Downtown Traffic Analysis - The City of St. Pete Beach is considering a downtown traffic analysis to find new ways to promote quality economic development, enhance alternative transportation modes and pedestrian safety, improve traffic flow and function and beautify the downtown area. An initial review of existing traffic patterns indicates a one-way couplet concept may contribute to meeting these goals, but additional technical analysis is required in order to verify the available options to be brought forward for additional public input which will be a critical component of any final action.

-Park & Parkway Landscape Maintenance - The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified Construction Contractors for: Landscape Maintenance Services for Parks, Parkways, and ROW, city-wide. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on October 19, 2011, at 1:00 PM at the Public Services Building located at 7581 Boca Ciega Dr., St. Pete Beach, FL, 33706. Bid proposal closing date is October 26, 2011, 10am at City Hall.

 

- Sidewalk and Curb Replacement - The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified Construction Contractors for various repairs to: Concrete Sidewalks and Curbs – City Wide - for FY2012. Bid proposal close date is October 12, 2011, 10am at City Hall.

 

seawall_cap2-Seawall Repair - The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified Construction Contractors for Seawall repairs at 19th Ave., 76th Ave., and 77th Ave. Bid Proposals close date was September 14, 2011, 10am at City Hall.

  • Project Update #1 (9/16/11) - for seawalls at 19th Ave., 76th Ave., and 77th Ave. street ends. All bids are under review.

  • Project Update #2 (1/9/12) - Enterprise Marine has completed the seawall cap and anchors at 76th Ave. Site clean-up, restoration, and a new sidewalk need to be completed at 76th Ave. The contractor will return on Tuesday, Jan. 3rd to complete the work. After completion of 76th Ave., Enterprise will begin demolition at the 77th Ave. seawall.
  • Project Update #3 – Seawall at 19th Ave. has yet to be completed.  Additional design was necessary due to the discovery of thick concrete buried at the location of the seawall anchors.  All other seawalls, identified in the contract, have been completed.
