Per City Charter, Section 3.02(b): "No person shall be qualified to run for election as city commissioner, or to be elected to the position of city commissioner, unless he/she has first been a full-time resident of both the city and the district which he/she seeks to represent, for a period of twelve (12) months next preceding the last day on which he/she is allowed, by law, to qualify as a candidate for the position of city commissioner."
Candidate Guidebook Fee: $10.00
St. Pete Beach Filing Fee: $40.00
State of Florida Assessment Fee: 1% of salary
(An affidavit of Undue Burden may be filed for the State Assessment Fee)
