St. Pete Beach Comprehensive PlanThe St. Pete Beach Comprehensive Plan was originally adopted in 1989 in response to the requirements of the Florida Growth Management Act of 1985. The current Goals, Objectives and Policies reproduced here were updated in 1998 after an evaluation and appraisal of the original plan in 1996. These policies are the underlying guidelines for the basic requirements in the Land Development Code. The links on the right take you to the Goals, Objectives and Policies of the nine elements. The Land Use Categories provide basic information on the allowable uses, densities and intensities of various categories. The zoning districts within the city have similar names to the Land Use Categories in the plan. You can also view the Future Land Use Maps. Each of the land use category names shown on the maps are linked back to a description of the Land Use Category pertaining to it. |
